Walk Free has been set up by myself, Jodie Smith. I live in Wells-next-the-Sea as all my family have done for several generations. The reason I decided to start up Walk Free is from growing up in North Norfolk and walking the Coastal Path with my Father, who is the Wells Harbour Master. I have seen many walkers carrying their heavy bags around with them instead of Walking Free.
I have always wanted to start up a business in my home town to provide me with enough income to stay in the area and thought that this would be a brilliant opportunity to work and be involved in a pastime that I enjoy. I applied to the Prince's Trust for funding and they have helped me with a grant and advice.
I hope our services will help lots of people enjoy the North Norfolk Coastal Path and Peddars Way more without having to carry heavy bags around with them.
